For
Sports massage, anti-inflammatory for joints and muscles, analgesic; stimulating and warming. Wintergreen oil is used topically, aroma-therapeutically (well diluted) for muscle and joint discomfort, rheumatoid arthritis, rheumatism, tendinitis, cramps, inflammation, eczema, psoriasis and broken or bruised bones.
Blends well with peppermint, lavender and eucalyptus, Helichrysum, bay leaf essential oils.
Note: This is a very potent oil and should only be used by experienced aromatherapy practitioners. Never use this oil with children, women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, people who are taking anticoagulant or blood-thinning drugs, people who have a bleeding disorder such as hemophilia, people who are allergic to aspirin. Use in very high dilution with a base oil for skin application.
